I bought this to replace my over 10 year old Super 5200 that still runs but has developed some motor problems. I liked everything about my old machine more. The 2300 feels flimsy, the plastic gives in on the sides and makes creaking noises when I lift it. The 5200 felt solid. The rubber pad on 2300 is softer and feels less like natural rubber, whereas the rubber on 5200 feels nicer. The controls on 5200 were responsive and solid, but the start/stop switch on 2300 fails to work a lot of the times. It's irritating to try to start or stop the processing multiple times.
The worst part is that is is very, very loud! My 5200 hummed nicely, with an even tone, and had no crackles or cycling noises. I couldn't believe my ears when I made my first smoothie with the 2300! Not only it makes incredibly loud noise, there are so many different noises. There is some resonating sound from the body, some clanking noises from the container vibrating on the rubber pad, and some very odd cycling noises that seem to come from the blade. It also vibrates so much I have to hold onto the container to damp the noise a bit, and sometimes it vibrates so much the whole unit starts rotating and walking on the table. It's scary.
And this is only on low speeds, I never dared to try higher than speed 6. Oh, and to top it all off, it stopped running on its own, probably because of some overheating protection. But my trusty old 5200 rarely if ever did that, and never with smoothies. Goodbye, Ascent. I'm going old school with another legacy machine.

The blender with the large container works great, but the 20 oz blender cup with its own base will NOT work!! It is sooo frustrating! Please HELP

We purchased this product, with the dry grains container, specifically to make a fine garlic powder. It has met our expectations. We have found you have to be carful with how long it is on, because the heat it produces can make the powder too hot, making it clump and become unusable. But with trial and error we have figured out how to make the perfect powder consistency! Very happy so far with this product.

This is an amazing blender. I must have purchased 3 or 4 blenders from different vendors in stores and Online. None of them compared or performed like the Vitimax. This is one machine that I use everyday. If you’re looking for a “real” blender, this is the brand you want. I recommend this purchase without any reservations. And their customer service is excellent. Every time I called them for information the rep was knowledgeable and courteous to boot.
