Stop buying the cheap stuff and get the real deal. My Nutribullet limped along for a few years making smoothies and an occasional soup. When it finally bit the big one, I decided to try Vitamix and so GLAD I FINALLY DID IT! My Vitamix Ascent A2300 is superior in every way. Quiet in comparison to the deafening roar of the NB. We have made Roasted Butternut Squash Soup, Roasted Cauliflower Soup and a variety of smoothies. The texture From Vitamix is velvety and smooth and makes all the other blenders I have tried over the years look like children's toys by comparison. I only wish I had bought Vitamix sooner. Yes, it is more expensive, but I have been through several blenders in the past 10 years. This is definitely a case for the old saying, "You get what you pay for"! I am also using the app for blending programs (because I am a gadget freak) and considering purchasing the spendy Vitamix Perfect Scale for more precise measuring and more recipes. Although, you do NOT need the app, nor do you need the scale to use the app. The vitamix.com website has plenty of great recipes and I have also found some great ones on Youtube. As I said, I am a gadget freak, so the scale is probably in my future. I cheaped out and bought an inexpensive scale on-line elsewhere that did not suffice, so it is going back. The Vitamix Perfect Scale connects via bluetooth and measures down to fractions of grams, so it may be warranted. Maybe it will go on sale. Waiting...

Amazing blender. I love it so far and much better than my previous Vitamix (Legacy series). This is a sleeker design, less bulky, and shorter -so it fits nicely under my cabinet.

Amazing, gets my smoothie very smooth (haha!) every morning, never seems to dull, and is my new best friend in the kitchen! If it was machine washable I'd consider proposing, but until then we're just friends. All in all worth the money for as often as I use it. The timer screen is incredibly useful!

I have purchased at least 5 Vitamix over 25 years for myself and as gifts. I use one everyday and they have been great. I recently decided that I needed a new one for a second home and purchased the A 2300. I am very disappointed in the unit. The quality of this Vitamix has gone way down from earlier models. The power is lower and the motor feels like it will have a much shorter lifespan. this unit doesn't fair well for Vitamix brand.
Amazing blender but the ability to provide power for the awesome food processor is just icing on the cake. This machine is a beast in all the best ways. My absolute favorite dish right now is soft ice cream made in this blender. Ice cream was the biggest surprise for me of the possibilities that this blender could achieve. Ice cream to hot soup. This blender does it all! Would love to see other attachments developed with the Self-Detect base.
Pros: Durability, Easy to use, Versatility, Recipe Enhancement, Product features, Power
I purchased my A2300 at an introductory price. That made it an exceptional value. I still think it is a good value because it is the future of the Vitamix line. It is a great blender as all Vitamixes are. I really like the new sets of attachments that are coming out. I already use the smoothie bowls and single-serving blender attachments. I plan on getting a food processor attachment.
