I’ve been eyeing a Vitamix for several years and finally got one for Mother’s Day. I made my first smoothie yesterday and WOW. Just wow. This thing could blend bricks! Lol. Usually when I add seeds, nuts, grains or greens to my smoothies they’d come out drinkable but gritty. And you could always see the small pieces and specks. So I experimented with them in the Vitamix and there were no crunchy hemp hulls to be found! Plus the color was uniform green and not weirdly brown. I couldn’t believe it. I can’t wait to try the carrot juice recipe and make some gazpacho. I’m a Vitamix customer for life now.
Pros: Speed of Service, Texture Quality, Durability, Easy to use, Versatility, Recipe Enhancement, Power
I bought my vitamix a few days ago, and have been using it daily for smoothies, coffee fraps, and dips. It has been great, it is very powerful and blends everything so quickly. With my vitamix, I can add nuts to my smoothies, and it blends it in!
I've owned a Vitamix for over 10 years and recently upgraded to the A2300, mostly for the convenience of having one machine that does my blending, bullet blending, and food processing. I still have my older Vitamix and it's still runs great. I also really like the idea of having a timer, but it doesn't actually have a real timer that you can set for a certain amount of time. It is more of a stopwatch that just counts up. Also, I liked the thought of having preset programs, but it's difficult to use the app to find a program I need and doesn't really save me any time, if anything it actually takes more time to find the program and use it. I think if you also have the scale the app with its programs may be more beneficial. I thought that the low profile 64 oz container would fit on my counter underneath the upper cabinets and save space but it doesn't. Because of its low profile it's wider and does not do small amounts of food very well. This is where it's nice to have the smaller bullet blender cups, but they don't necessarily work very well with very thick mixtures that really need a tamper. This is more of a comparison review with my older Vitamix. Overall, I like the A2300 better because of its versatility in having bullet blending and food processing abilities which saves storage room and the count-up timer is better than nothing.
Pros: Texture Quality, Versatility, Product features
The minimal buttons are intuitive and easy to use, but I wish it had program buttons like the other ascent models. If you are considering vitamix you already know they’re high quality, and this blender gets the job done well!
I bought my machine over a month ago and not a day has gone by where I have not used it at least once. I contemplated the purchase for so long and only wish now that I had done so sooner. I’m very impressed with how easy it is to use and clean. Smoothies in under a minute, hot soup in six!
Pros: Texture Quality, Easy to use, Versatility, Power
Love this blender! It’s the most basic of the Ascent series and I’m satisfied with this product. The count up timer is helpful to see how long the food’s been blending. It’s just perfect for me.
Pros: Durability, Easy to use, Versatility, Product features, Power
