Nice blender -- have one of the professional blenders and love it but wanted the attachments but they would not fit the blender I had - so I purchased this one. Love it. Works great. It doesn't have all the features my professional blender has, but it does what I need it to do.

This is my third Vitamix. We bought it as an upgrade so we could use the auto-select feature and the food processor. The A2300 is VERY loud, the loudest of the ones we’ve owned. I called customer support and they confirmed this unit has a stronger motor and is indeed LOUD. It vibrates across the countertop as it runs so we have to keep two hands on it to keep it on the counter. We are trying to decide if we need to return it and the food processor since the FP will not work with our other unit. We also like the rubber lid better than the polycarbonate as the rubber seems more resilient. Likely easier to clean the polycarbonate.

My wife being an astute south Indian had sworn that she would never use a Vitamix ever for her Idli/Dosa batter. All it took was just one try and she now loves it.The 18000 rpm of her Preethi is no match to the 38000 rpm of the Vitamix....the time taken is lowered by almost 80%...
She however still swears by the genuine flavor that a wet stone grinder can impart to the batter...and I won't dispute that..

Overpriced not reliable

Thought long and hard about buying this blender. Unfortunately 6 months later already regretting it. For how ridiculously expensive this blender is you would think that it would be reliable. Unfortunately no, 6 months later and the unit no longer detects the base consistently. The smaller blender cups are no longer detected at all by the unit. Do not purchase this. Go with a blend tech blender like I should have.

I upgraded to this blender from a Njnja that I previously had but that had just broken. I’m so glad I invested in this one. I drink smoothies daily and previously all my smoothies would require slight chewing where this one really blends everything so smoothly. I love it and been very impressed with it.
