I’ve had this blender for over a year now it works great for what I need it for. I’ve made smoothies, soups, ice cream. The blender I had before wouldn’t even blend the ice in a smoothie. I have found that making a single serving in the large container is not it’s strong suit so I purchased the blender cup starter set and that solved that issue.

I held off on buying the Vitamix A2300 because of the price but I finally got tired of taking forever to make smoothies. I was also using 1970's era gadgets (don't ask! but they still work) to grate and puree food but this Vitamix and food processor attachment cover all the bases and more! I would give a 4.5 for the fact that it is very, very difficult to see the measurements on the side of the Vitamix container. They should be darker.

I purchased the Vitamix for my daughter and she was thrilled to receive it. The first night she made hot soup and has been using her blender daily. Was a bit of a wait to receive, however when i reached out to customer service they were able to accommodate my request.

Quality is not the same as 7500

I bought this so I could use the accessories, but returned it immediately. Compared to the 7500, this shell was made of flimsy plastic plates, the dials and switches were cheaper, even the power on off went to a cheaper little grey on/off. At every turn you could see and feel the choice to cut costs was made over quality. Based on exterior cheapening alone, I can't trust they haven't plasticized internal components as well. Decided to return this without even trying it, and stick with the 7500.
