[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great hard shell case! Fit's a big payload and when full only weighed 30 lbs perfect for a long airline trip!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently used this for a trip to Africa which included at least 8 different flights. I think it is a sturdy piece of luggage. i was a bit disappointed in how easily it got scratched and marked up. I've never had hard shell luggage before so maybe this is normal and in all fairness there were many different airlines handling the luggage. But i was surprised how bad it looked after just 3 of the different flights.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We just used this suitcase on our trip to Jamaica and I was skeptical at first, thinking that it will be broken going there or when we get back. It survived and we are so happy!

Spinner Carryon is Larger than most airlines allow

I bought this carry on spinner with plans to do quite a bit of airline traveling and I needed a quality carry-on. The external 23" size and 10" width stated are larger than than the allowable size in the airline guide you provide on your webpage. So far the gate agents have not questioned it, but last year I flew on flights where the agents required customers to squeeze their luggage into the hard templates. I used to have soft cloth luggage where it was possible to do that but your hard sized luggage does not. Samsonite should not be selling luggage that is known to exceed the airlines requirements and marketing it as a "Carry-On".
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
