So beat up after one trip, extremely disappointed!

We had our previous luggage for 10+ years, we decided it was time to upgrade and thought Samsonite was a reputable brand. After the first flight, they were scratched and scuffed, they look terrible. After I 2nd flight home, the top corner was dented and and I’m so sure they would survive many more trips. Extremely disappointed in the quality of the product!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Fragile zippers

Fewer than 3 trips with this medium suitcase and the zippers (crown and pullers) are no more.

Decided it was finally time to invest in quality luggage as I will now be traveling quite a bit more for work. I fly occasionally (4-6 times/year), and I refuse to pay to check my bag! With this hard shell carry-on, I will be able to easily bring everything I need with the confidence that it will fit in the overhead. Previously, I carried a duffel, the spinner allows me to easily maneuver around the airport! Also, it looks gorgeous (just as pictured) I got the green because I was afraid white would scuff, but both are great! Oh and the lock...you have the slide the TSA part to unlock (comes preset to 000). There are directions inside once you get it open. Cheers!

Purchased 7 months ago. All of a sudden going to the airport the handle gets stuck!!! Goes down halfway and then the right side of handle is locked. I'm currently writing this at the airport.

Not Really A Carry-On

This bag was highly-rated on multiple review sites, so I purchased it for an upcoming trip. When I received the luggage I was impressed by the quality of the product. When I checked the airline website to make sure it would meet their Carry-On dimensions it wouldn't qualify. I recently checked the Samsonite Chart and only 3 out of 31 airlines consider it a Carry-On Luggage.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

one wheel gone on its first international trip

Just bought the suitcase and brought it on an international trip. The surface scratches very easily which is a small issue. On the returning flight back home, I dragged the suitcase down the belt and realized that one wheel was missing. I've used tons of suitcases over the decades, and I've never seen a suitcase so flimsy and poorly made.

Not the quality I expected

Expansion zipper broke on first use. Plastic is soft and was very scratched and scuffed from one trip. Won't let me return for money back which I understand is the policy but was hoping for an exception given quality concerns. Expected better from Samsonite especially because the Amazon Basics suitcase I replaced was 10x as durable and 1/2 the cost.
