I love the look, color and the wheels, unfortunately I'm disappointed in the quality. Just one trip, the very 1st trip, the logo/plague already cracked and luggage is showing scratches :( While my son's Ricardo carry-on (much cheaper) still looks brand new on its 5th trip...so we know it's not airlines neglect or whatever the warranty says abt wear & tear...it's just Samsonite Freeform quality is not up to par.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The suitcase capacity is 5 stars, but the outside construction leaves a lot to be desired. While I expected their to be some wear and tear on the outside after 1 trip (and that was only to my EU destination, not the return) the checked luggage looks like it is years old vs. brand new (or even newish).
