The magnatron tube died 22 after 22 months of use

This microwave is a high end product. The magnatron tube is the heart of the microwave and it died after only 22 months of use. Bosch provides only a 1 year warranty. The repair cost is over 80% of the original cost of the unit. Over the 40 years we have owned a variety of microwaves, this is the only microwave we have owned that ever had this type of failure. I am hoping that Bosch will provide some compensation for its sub-standard product.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

ONLY LASTED 3 YEARS BEFORE IT BROKE

Great oven but disappointing longevity

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Magnetron ($$$) failed after less than two years; replacement cost was within $150 of our original purchase price. Very disappointed about that even though the appliance is satisfactory when it works.

Bosch Microwave

This was the second one delivered. The first one was all bent in on the top sides and top. This one did have a slight indentation on the top left front side.

Great Microwave

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This microwave is sleek and looks great with our other Bosch appliances. It defrosts perfectly which a lot of microwaves don't do, and it heats food evenly. We have had this for a few years and decided to buy it again for a second home that we renovated.
