The speed is incredible! I am very pleased with the clarity of print and speed. It is easy to use. The double-sided printing is quick and easy. I'm thrilled with that! I know it's for documents, but I tried to print my grandson's picture, and photos do not come out well.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Clear prints

Bought this as I print allot of 11x17 proof blue prints and did not want to spent thousands on a laser printer. Have switched this to my main printer now. Prints clean and clear with good paper. Good enough to read Arch D size scaled down to 11x17.

Unit i s fast, quiet and quick to recover from large file printing. Quality is excellent and the options it gives me for different levels of printing are more than adequate for my business

From a hardware standpoint, this printer was a snap to set up. There were very few moving parts, so to speak, and the time it took from getting it out of the box to loading it with paper and ink was quite short. That said, as far as the software side of things (i.e., setting it up to actually print) I did have a few minor issues. First, it seems to favor WIndows users. There`s a setup disc that comes with it that`s only for Windows; and for those users who work on Linux or Chromebook, setup was a bit fiddly. Linux is a common OS for any office working with tech, and I do wish it was a bit more intuitive to set up for that particular OS.

When I printed from a Chromebook, the touchscreen prompted me to set up my Cloud printing capability, which would involve connecting it to my Google Drive, which I preferred not to do. I wanted to be able to easily and quickly print over wifi. I was able to eventually do that, but my main criticism is that this wasn`t made as straightforward as it could have been. All that said, the integrations it offers with apps such as Evernote, Dropbox, etc are very convenient.
Use
Once set up, the printer is very easy to use and configure. I am happy to report that after many many copies, there have been no paper jams, no errors -- in short, it runs smoothly and reliably. This is a relief as I have come to expect snafus from my experience working with other printers, even high-quality models. It also prints very quickly, which saves time when you have a big batch. I also love that there are multiple paper drawers -- this really saves time, as you don`t have to load a drawer every time it`s empty, which can happen frequently with big batches and during high usage.

The actual print and scan quality is top notch, and the images are consistently sharp and true to the original.

Appearance
It`s a fairly standard looking business model -- it`s neither striking nor off putting in its design. In other words, it fades into the background of office decor, which is probably the best case scenario.

Other features:
I absolutely love that this printer came with so much ink! One of the biggest annoyances with printers in general is that it seems as if they are always about to run out, or have just run out. But this model came with so many cartridges that, for the foreseeable future, I can print without worrying whether or not this is the last copy before I have to order ink.
