Weird configuration

Weird design and configuration of the screen. I was hoping the layout would be like the MFC-J6710DW layout. I am not use to putting the paper in the tray horizontally and on top of the feeder vertically. Too much imbalance for me, BUT it is what it is. I was in need of a printer.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Not bad - fair

It's fast and the printer is ok, but we have run across some inconvenient issues here and there that get annoying. It won't print things correctly from certain variants of PDF files and firmwear updates have caused it to malfunction and it had to be taken in for repair because brother couldn't fix it over the phone. We print checks for office use. Sometimes it will grab more than one check when printing so we have to open the drawer and put a new check in one at a time. When you do this, you have have to hit the "ok" button to confirm the tray settings every time the drawer is closed again. Sometimes, and I don't know if this is a wireless/internet problem or not, but sometimes you will print something and it will just "sit" in the queue for about 30 minutes and then decide to print after that. It happens about once every two weeks.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great features on the Brother MFC-J6535DW, makes it perfect for the engineer on the jobsite due to its low ink consumption and 11"x17" printing capabilities...

Definitely not designed for small office

We have had trouble keeping this printer connected to our network. I have sent this printer up to scan in to individual computers in the office. Right now the only way I can get a document scanned is the email it to myself.

This is my first non HP printer in over 20 years. I'm impressed with the speed, quality, ease of use and incredibly stress free installation process. I am also pleased with the 11 X 17 paper capability and the wifi works flawlessly with my Windows 10 and my wife's Mac. With the Mac, there is no installation at all. Simply connect the printer to your wifi, turn on your Mac and if the Mac is connected to your wifi, you are ready to print. Also, is if very quiet and very fast.
I would recommend this to a friend!
