The printer was easy to install on all my computers. It also meets my expectation for printing. I don't like that when I switch from legal to ledger paper for the MP tray that it does not automatically detect the size of the paper. I have to enter this information manually. I also have had trouble printing on 4x6 index card from the MP tray. Yet with these irritations I still like this printer.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I would like to start this review by mentioning that I am not the most technologically inclined person in the world. And I wanted to make sure that I did every step myself so that I could speak to each function personally.
Set Up/Assembly: I was a bit intimidated at first. I took each item out of the box and took stock of what was included. I then located the instruction sheet. It was 1 sheet of paper, front and back, and the instructions were short and clear. It also includes pictures to help. I was very happy with the instructions. I followed them step by step, and was pleasantly surprised that setting up this machine was a breeze!
Favorite Features: I love that it has a large touch screen, with large number/arrow buttons. The screen is also adjustable up and down to make it easier to read depending on where the printer is placed etc. I also think that it`s amazing that there is an app that you can download on your smartphone. It tells you where your ink levels are, you can send things from your phone to your printer. That goes hand in hand with the next great thing... bluetooth! I can send things to print from my upstairs computer to the printer which is downstairs.
Print Quality- Excellent! The colors are vibrant and smooth. I love that it came with extra ink cartridges, I won`t need to buy ink for a long time!
I have not encountered any issues with the printer itself or any of it`s functions since I started using it. It functions soooooo much better than the machine that was I using previously for my small business.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Everything came with this printer to make it easy to assemble and install. Now when I tell my computer to print something on this printer, it prints out quickly and easily without any problems. It doesn`t sit there making a lot of noises first like my other printer did. It just prints out each page immediately, no matter how many times I want to print something, even color pages. I have no complaints about this printer - everything about it is just great.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I have a small home business, so the need for an all in one copier, scanner, and fax was just what I need. My printer was very easy to set up using the quick set up instructions that were included. I really liked how easy the ink cartridges slipped into their space with no cumbersome tilting and pushing that I have had to do with other printers.
I liked the two-sided copy feature, however, I was using the manual to instruct me and was referred to the on-line instructions to learn more. This was a little frustrating as I then needed to look elsewhere. All was good though as I found what I was looking for.
I have filled the paper tray with regular paper and the MP tray with photo paper as I use both often. This was very easy to switch between documents and photos.
I love the printing ability from a USB drive, and the ability to shrink pages to fit several onto one sheet.
Another handy guide is the small Brother help icon that appears on the lower right side of my lap top screen whenever I am using my lap top to print. Just click on it to troubleshoot without needing to look elsewhere.
All in all I think that I have found a great new "business partner".

I am the director of a daycare with 6 classrooms and 49 children. We run several copies of multiple documents daily. Not only worksheets several times a day, we are also required to document and photocopy several state required forms. We were utilizing a huge "space hogging" dinosaur of a machine (the kids named it that because of the noise it makes lol). Aside from being easy to assemble ( it took all of 10 minutes) the Brother printer sits on top of my desk. With the big dinosaur, everytime it had a issue we had to call someone in to fix it, even so much as an inside paper jam. While i have undid a paper jam on the Brother myself ( and I`m not technically inclined) with the simple step by step instructions that appear on the screen. Also the wifi abilities are so easy to use I`m able to send worksheets to the printer without leaving the playground or the kitchen. Our old printer said it had these capabilities but we could never figure out how to use them. The printer is very user friendly and has definitely been a saving grace. Love this machine and it makes my job much easier!

Great Quality Printing

STORAGE -
Probably the only thing I din`t like about this printer is the size. It`s a big one, and my small home office doesn`t have a lot of extra room, so it`s going to be tight until I can figure out what I can live without to make room for it.

ASSEMBLY -
There really is no assembly required for this printer. The only thing I had to do when taking it out of the box was install the ink. The ink installation was super easy, and the door to the ink cartridge is conveniently located right in the front, so it is easily accessible, and the ink installation/replacement is very easy. Just put the cartridge in and listen for the click and you are all set.

QUALITY OF PRINT -
For an ink jet printer, I was very happy with the print quality. Pages were clean and images came out sharp. Not blotching or skipping, just a clean fine line. You can print as large as an 11"x 17" sheet and you can print on regular paper or card stock so it works well for various different projects. It also has automatic 2 sided printing, so this saves a huge amount of time!

PROBLEMS -
I had absolutely no problems with this printer. The quality of print is wonderful and the ink is affordable and doesn`t break the bank. Being that this printer came with a two year supply of ink, it is a great deal.

PRICE -
The initial check of the price was a little surprising, but after seeing how much ink is included with in the box and the longevity of each cartridge, I was quite impressed. After doing the math, your pages print for virtually pennies.

SET UP & CONNECTIVITY -
Set up was super easy. It came with a compact disc which I did I not need since I run everything wirelessly. Bluetooth hookup was easy after installing the app on my Android phone, and with my laptop, I didn`t have to do anything other than turn my Wifi on and connect.

Setup process could not have been any easier. I have had bad luck in the past with other printers, but I must say this is the first printer that has been so easy to get up and running. Honestly, all I had to do was plug it in, install the ink, run a test page, connect my app and laptop, and start printing.
