Great for Small Office

Replaced an HP with this Brother. Very pleased. Good quality printing and economical. Excellent features for the price and easy to install on my wireless network. Two year warranty with lifetime telephone support, don't get that with HP.

Superior Performance Printer

Excellent printer. Better in every regard than the HP's we had in the past. My wife does the church bulletin which requires 170 double sided pages, including a color graphic every week. She is really pleased with the speed (twice the ppm of the HP), and the savings on ink is phenominal. Been using it for about 6 months and no paper jams, or other problems.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I am a new fan of Brother for my printer choice

I did research for the features I needed, and paid more for a printer/copier/fax or 'all-in-one' than I usually do. In the past, I have bought some special or deal with lowest upfront cost. I have owned HP and Lexmark and they both drove me nuts in the end. The Brother appeared to be lowest total cost of ownership (always having to look at the ink source/supply too). I chose MFC-J5830DW for its feature set and it is working very well for me. The tools and utilities are easy to use and very well laid out. I have a newfound use by scanning packets of documents to electronic pdfs and cleaning up clutter too. Overall, I think Brother will be my choice of printer company from here on.

I don't know how i've gotten by with the equipment i was using for several years. This machine has made my job so much easier and increased my efficeincy tremendously.

Good Printer

This is a good printer! I like everything about it. I do notice that it does not eat up ink like other printers seem to do. It is quiet and the colors are excellent! My first Brother printer and may just be an ongoing thing! 5 Stars for sure!

A great small business investment

This product has exceeded my expectations. The set up was simple and easy to follow. Ink usage has been as promised. It is very fast and has a great print quality. I love the large paper capacity. Beats most printers at this price point. I highly recommend this machine. A great value.

Not one hiccup. Works great, saving me a ton of time. My second brother. Will not switch. Service and performance from anywhere else would not be worth it. Love my machine.

Quality features

Although everything else seems to be fine but somehow scanning appear to be some issues. No matter how few (1-5 pages) scanning through feeder, "problem" indication appears and then scanning failed. Scanning failure is a repetive problematic with this machine. It's not sure whether the software or the system is the issue here but it is a headache. If in fact, it is a software issue, perhaps, it maybe fixed through the update systematically. If it cannot be updated and fixed systematically, please advised otherwise.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
