Home Office Workhorse

Purchased this for my home office about two months ago. It was easy to set up and is now the go-to wireless printer for my family. Principally used to print text and mixed text and images. Works well if your needs are for a solid plain paper printer.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Excellent value, superior features

I had been using a competitor's multi-function model when it went bad. I had planned to buy a more recent model in the same product line when the salesperson told me about the Brother unit. The Brother was more versatile in the sizes of paper stock it could print on, the ink was about half the cost for a comparable number of printed pages, the unit itself was considerably less expensive than its counterpart, and the unit had received awards for customer satisfaction. I bought the Brother. The unit has been working perfectly ever since I got it. The two high-priced competitor's units I had previously owned had both failed within a month of the purchase date each time, but their replacements worked Ok after that. I seriously doubt, though, that they will win any awards. They were quite expensive to keep stocked with ink. Because I work from home, my computer equipment *has* to work, or I don't. The Brother is a unit I can count on to help me get my tasks done, and I highly recommend it, especially over its High Priced competitor's unit. I do not go broke buying ink for it.

best all-in-one I have owned

Having suffered through another brand between two Brother all-in-one printers, I'm very relieved to have a Brother again. Maybe it's because I'm a Mac-user, but only the Brother has been reliable. It has excellent print-quality and every other feature is reliable. It was easy to set up as well.

Flawless Performance

Replaced a Brother MFC 5460CN that was about 10 years old.
This one has all the features I wanted at a reasonable price.
Hope this one last as long as the last one.

Great printer

Thus far, I've had a positive experience in setting up and using my new Brother printer. The only negative review is that I had some difficulty in understanding the procedure for printing envelopes from different programs, as the steps in using both trays varies from program to program, particulary my MS Word and MS Publisher programs. Other than that, we are happy with the quality of printing and in the cost-saving qualities of the ink cartridges, as well as the quality of printing in both b&w and color .

Excellent quality printing and features

Quality of printing is excellent in B&W and color; easy to use; setup is easy; what's not to like? I use the duplex printing all the time - works great. I wish I would have purchased the J5930DW which has duplex scanning and copying, but I just didn't notice that this one didn't have that until I received it and not worth returning.
Also, the cloud and network printing works well. Overall, this is as good a medium priced inkjet as any I've owned.
