[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Replaced our 30 year old Thermador Microwave. Should of replaced it 10 years ago. Wonderful unit. Super happy.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] so easy to use - just put in the time and go, no need to even tap a time cook button. Attractive. Couldn't be happier.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've been using the 800 Series Speed Oven for several months now and have enjoyed it daily. The aestetics of the appliance look and fit well in our kitchen. It's extremely quiet during operation and does a great job evenly heating the contents. The display is easy to read and has numerous programs available to prepare a wide range of dishes.
I have the 800 Series at home and am frustrated to say the least. It has failed now twice-the display went out the first time but luckily a home warranty (NOT the short lived Bosch warranty) covered it for around $400. Now, 9 months later, there was some electric burning smell and it now fails once again to turn on. Very dissappointed. The child lock is a nice touch though.
Had about two years. Panel was replaced after 1 year. Now year 2 and the panel has gone black again. No power. My old countertop microwave is better. I was a big fan of Bosch appliances but this is a huge disaster. My gut feeling is they know darn well that there is a problem with this microwave. Opening door down instead of to the side is a design flaw when put with the full oven. I can't reach in properly which is dangerous and a safety issue.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've always wanted a convection/microwave and now I have one. I hadn't thought about splatters from the microwave getting burnt on the interior when the convection baking is on. It is something I now am aware of. I put my microwave over the oven and with the door hinging on the bottom, I have problems getting in and our of this appliance. My husband is taller than I so it's not a problem for him. It's great for his 3 biscuits in the mornings.
