Great microwave, could use louder alerts

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a nice, powerful microwave. It is good looking, easy to use, and has many settings and some nice options, including convection. I would have given it a 5 star rating if only the alerts (the ding when it's done, timer) were more audible. As it is, the alerts are not very loud, even with the higher volume setting. Also the illumination on the the control panel is not very bright. (I also have the Bosch oven and it does not have these issues.)
Note that the door opens from top to bottom. If you have it installed above an oven and are not tall (like me!), it can be difficult to get things in and out of the oven.

Died after 3 years

We bought and installed this in 04/2017. It is 05/2020 and the oven died. Are you telling me that a microwave oven only lasts 3 years?

Awful product do not buy

My 800 Series Speed oven has not been good since day one. It's sensor reheat never worked and after less than two years in service the turntable tray stopped rotating. Light your hair on fire and run away. Did I mention that the matching I've has already had a service call too. Talk about a declining brand, Bosch is it.

Disappointing Bosch prodict

This is a review of the model that preceded this model. I purchased HMC87151UC in December 2016. It looked beautiful and fit in nicely with my renovation of my kitchen. After one year, the display became very dim. I had that repaired. After another year, in 2018, the microwave function stopped working. That repair was effective for another year, and then the microwave stopped working again. I had it repaired again. Then, 3 months later, the microwave stopped working again. This has been a very disappointing experience with a product, that, because it is a Bosch product, just did not perform up to the brand reputation. I don't believe that there was sufficient quality control in the manufacture of this model. I feel very let down.

Brokedown 2x in 5 months...so far

Nice lookig but broke down 2xs already. Had the repair guy here 2x for the first breakdown and he had to replace most of the internial parts. Then a couple of months go by and it stops working again.
