Nice options

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the many options this oven has. I've always wanted a warming oven but didn't have room for the additional appliance, so this option is great. The only thing I don't like is the low sound of the timer. I've tried it on both low and high and it makes no difference. It's too quiet and I'm afraid I may miss the notification and burn some things.

Unreliable microwave

We purchased Bosch because we expected the top quality. Howeve the microwave was having issue right from the start. First the display got dimmed but still it was working. Next the door spring on the left side broke down, we replaced it. Then the same happened on the right side. And finally it died on us yesterday. We also have a cooktop from Bosch where we had to replace 3 out of 5 igniters. I don't think we will consider Bosch as our future appliances provider.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

No service on appliance

We purchased a $4,000 + wall oven microwave combo unit in 2020. Had it repaired in 2021 (less than a year old) and called for repair again In November. The Lowes service repair center was unable to find a company to come repair it as we live in rural Amador County in California. We were eventually told that Lowes was "buying out" our appliance and we would have to purchase a new one... WE Will NEVER BUY ANOTHER BOSCH Appliance AGAIN. If we can't get service we will buy Kitchenaid or something else!

Not the solution I expected

We were encouraged to buy this speed oven when we bought a new home. I wanted a microwave, but didn't want it on the counter, and I wanted a second oven... This, in theory, was a good solution. But we have never been happy with the microwave. First of all, the height of installation above a regular oven and the design of the door opening down toward you, it's impossible to reach inside to clean it, especially the back wall. No way. And I'm not short. As for performance, it's not very powerful. It takes much longer than you would expect to heat/reheat things. And I find it totally odd that when we cook bacon in it, the entire oven fills with condensation, and I mean A LOT of condensation. I have to wipe down the door and the walls (that I can reach). I can't begin to explain it. Other foods also generate SOME condensation, but nothing like when we cook bacon. As for the "speed oven" part, I simply can't figure it out. It seems everything is driven by presets. If there is a way to just turn it on and ask it to heat to a specific temp, I haven't figured it out.
NOW, after 4 years, we thought it had died. After running a minute or two, it stopped and the display panel went dark. After a while, the clock came back on. Tried again. And again, it stopped and went dark. This happened 5 or 6 times. Then today, I heated something for one minute, and it stayed on. So gitchy. Clearly not reliable at this point, and I have no idea if I need to replace the motherboard or replace the entire appliance. I'm not inclined to pay for a service call. Hoping maybe Bosch will read this and reply with some answers... either a complimentary repair, or a discount on a more powerful microwave that fits in the same space!

Bosch 800 Series Microwave Oven

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This microwave does everything and is by far the fastest heating microwave we have ever owned. 30 seconds gets most stuff hot, frozen stuff in 3 to 4 minutes is beyond hot. We are still getting used to the timings, but we love this microwave and would recommend this microwave.
