Oven door latch breaks easily, oven stops working

We bought this oven a year ago and have had it repaired twice now. First the broiler element took forever to heat up so we got it replaced. At the time the repairman warned us not to open and close the door hard as there are light plastic pieces inside that latch and unlatch the door that break easily. We were careful but they broke anyway after just over a year of use. Now its the pandemic and although we did buy a VERY expensive extended warranty, Bosch is slow on making/importing parts so we have been without use of our oven going on 2 months now, and that included over Christmas. I call and call and they say Bosch hasnt sent the parts yet. Hopefully we'll sell this home soon and the appliances with it and wont be rebuying Bosch again.

Don't expect a unit of this cost to stop convection bake function after less than 3.5 years. Whatever happened to German engineering?
