Great Cookie Set

(Overview) My sister, who is an elementary school principal, bought the Slice and Bake cookie set for my 5 year old. This is a great toy because it has helped with counting, language development, and keeps my kid occupied in her kitchen so she can't make messes in mine. (Pros) This is a great toy for a small group of kids because it helps with cooperative play and children can assign themselves jobs. "I'm cutting!" "Well, I'm baking it!" "I'll put the frosting on!" This is a fun activity for elders as well. My daughter brought this toy with her when we visited a relative in an assisted care unit. Our relative, who has arthritis, was happy to see this was an activity she could do with the kids. The other residents joined us to 'bake' cookies. "Finally, cookies that won't make us fat!", commented one gentleman. (Con) If you have rambunctious children, the individual pieces can easily become projectiles! At least the cookies stop being hurled when the line, "If you can't behave, you can't play Bakery." is uttered.
Pros: Durable, Easy Assembly, Entertaining, Fun, Great Value, Interactive
