As a former kindergarten teacher for over 20 years, OH, how I wish Melissa and Doug toys were available back then!!! I would have stocked my classroom full! As a grandparent whose 2.5 year old is enjoying M and D toys now, I am enthralled with them! SOOOO realistic and really lets the child mimic grown-up activities! There is actually a feeling of slicing the dough with this toy! Amazing!!!

My Daughter's Favorite Christmas Gift

My daughter got a lot of presents for Christmas, but this has been the most entertaining and by far the most played with toy she owns. Even her friends who come over who are in 1st and 3rd grades want to play with these cookies and pretend. They take orders and use this toy for hours!!

Bought this as a Christmas gift for a little girl who recently turned four. Didn't unwrap the set as it was a gift, but items were adorable and appeared well made. Her mom reported back to me a few days after receiving the gift stating that the little girl loves it. They had made dozens and dozens of cookies already!!!! I gave these to my 3yr old little boy for Christmas this year and he has not put them down. He loves slicing the cookies off, putting them on the cookie sheet and putting them in the oven. He then puts on his oven mitt to take them out. He ices them and then serves them with the spatula on to paper plates (not included)for our guest. He also loves the puzzles they have and I will be buying more food sets for his restaurant.
