We bought this for our daughter and she loves it. She is able to make cookies in her own little kitchen just like mommy does. Melissa and Doug made another high quality, great toy. Happy Mom.

My Daughter Loves This!

I have never seen my 2 year old play with 1 single toy for such a long period of time. I showed her how to cut the cookie dough and lay each one out on the pan, then we put them in her toy oven, let them "cook" while we ate dinner and after dinner my daughter "frosted" the cookies and we all ate "dessert." My daughter was so proud of herself. It is a great confidence boosting toy, helps with sharing (giving little brother a cookie) and I only had to show my daughter the "process" once and she was baking cookies all night!!!!!! Also, there aren't any small parts for little brother to choke on, which is nice.

When I am asked, "what does Alex want for..." I always say, play food from Melissa and Doug. He loves the realism. His own "knife" for cutting, being successful cutting, dough to decorating, to cookies. This is a marvelous addition to his play kitchen. I will be getting him more food for Christmas.

My sons Early On teacher brought this over this morning and my 2 yr old and 1 yr old sons loved it! My 2yr old has a speech delay with anger management issues and he loved cutting the cookies apart he played with this basically the entire hour she was here. He couldn't get enough of this toy. I think she's bringing out the pizza one next week.
