Great work table bad screws and boards

This is such a great toy I wish the pieces to build would last longer. The threading of the screws wear off and the blocks threading wear out so we only really got to build for a week before the items built fell apart. Wondering if there's an work table hack to repurpose it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Child loves the bench, but the tool quality is lacking

The workbench itself is great. My kids love it and we have built everything in the instruction booklet. The problems that we are currently seeing are with the cube pieces. They aren't all the same size, and they are already (likely always were) stripped. This means the builds end up being very loose. The bolts are also much thinner than the parts from other sets, so they don't work well together. I also don't see an option for replacing or purchasing additional pieces. I would love to see packs of just the bolts, nuts, nails, etc as well as some additional building instructions. In the end, we will keep the bench but likely replace the tools with another brand that we can easily expand upon.
