Never buy this Microwave

Apparently this microwave is plugged into the oven below which is an inherent design flaw as there is a fuse in the oven for it which keeps blowing up. To rectify it the whole microwave and oven combo has to be taken out of the cabinet and then separated from each other to access the fuse panel. The fuse just fails every few months. So the whole ordeal has to be repeated and it takes weeks to rectify because "parts" are never in stock. As per the company the door switches in this microwave cause it but the issue is how this combo is designed. So buyer beware. If you want to buy this then it is recommended to buy a backup kitchen counter microwave too for the times it will keep failing as we have done.

BOSCH Microwave & Oven

Most of all, I LOVE that my 3 year old can stand behind the oven and watch the cookies bake without burning her hand. Great oven, great microwave, great amount of space and it fitted beautifully in the space we had without us having to make any adjustments with a carpenter.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am very pleased with the operation, appearance, and functionality of my new BOSCH Built-In Microwave. The only thing that was disappointing was the built in energy efficient clock. The clock turns off after a couple of minutes. I wish there was a way to have my clock on at all times as that is the clock I used to use the most with my other microwave. Eye level for me! Other than that, it has proven to be a good microwave so far.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This microwave suffers from what many other fail to do ... backlit buttons. Are the Bosch folks never up after sunset ? Otherwise it's fine. Too many buttons/features I'll never use. Overpriced Buttons not suitable for diabetics. I guess I won't win the prize??

The clock only stays on when using. I can't find anything in settings to get it to stay on all the time.

Microwave Timer Loudness

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The loudness control is insufficient. One must stand in front of the microwave to hear it, even when it is set to loud. Secondly, the selection panel should be backlit so it can be viewed more easily. Perhaps a back light could come on when the panel is touched.
