Power saver on kitchen timer

I love evertyhing about my new micro wave oven except the energy power saver on the clock an kitchen timer. The display goes dim after 30 minutes even if you are using the timer and it does not light up when you try and set it.
Every time I use the kitchen timer I have to hit the settings button first to light up the display and then the clear botton just to set the time and heaven forbid setting the timer for more than 30 min it still goes dark even when its still running. I have gone into setting and changed the display brightness a dozen times and after 30 min its done, dim again.
My Bosch dbl oven display stays bright 24/7

Modern communication.

We purchased this unit as an integrated over/microwave combination approximately 3 years ago. The microwave recently called it quits and we were told not reparable. The magnetron blew out. We are out of warranty, of course. Rather than spend a great deal of money for w new over/microwave, I tried contacting Bosch to inquire as to the possibility of finding a way to salvage the microwave section. Instead of a reply, all we get is promotional emails. I would strongly recommend avoiding this line. Actually, I would emphatically say to avoid this product. Both the product and product support have been sorely lacking.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Nice but 2X Control Board with Display failed

Less Than 2 Years Old. Display was always dim and did not match brightness of oven display. Complained about it from delivery date saying its not right. Had it replaced before warranty expired. Now 8 moths later the control board is completely dead.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Unreadable screen and then Broke

The screen on this microwave started out very dim and then became basically unreadable. We would have to cup our hands to look at it or shine a flashlight in order to actually read it. Then after 2 years it broke completely. We replaced the fuse, but it burned out when we plugged it in again. Overall, very disappointed with this product.

Disappointing

First I have to say Bosch support was great. I am very dissappointed in the quality of the Bosch microwave. This unit was part of the built in oven and expensive. Our unit failed 12 months after purchase. The main component failed. Most microwaves last years. I would not recommend purchasing the Bosch microwave.

Not a fan. The door should open to the left not down. It is very hard to get inside to clean or even put or get things out because of the way the door opens. Also I don't understand when I cook something that is frozen why it steams up inside. I have owned several microwaves and none have ever done this. I would not be interested in buying another Bosch appliance.
