Not a fan. The door should open to the left not down. It is very hard to get inside to clean or even put or get things out because of the way the door opens. Also I don't understand when I cook something that is frozen why it steams up inside. I have owned several microwaves and none have ever done this. I would not be interested in buying another Bosch appliance.

Sleek and functional

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a stylish and sleek microwave which coordinates nicely with the other Bosch appliances installed with my kitchen renovation a couple of months ago. I have been very pleased with it. It does exactly what I expect of it with no surprises. The controls are intuitive. I was expecting the stainless steel interior to take a bit more vigilance in keeping clean than my old white-lined model, but I have not really noticed that so far. I would prefer a side-opening door for easier access although I am getting used to the bottom opening.

Super Quiet!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Finally replaced our Kitchenaid Microwave with a Bosch and can not believe I waited so long. Amazingly quiet and cooks everything so much evenly. Definitely an upgrade in the kitchen.

Great Microwave

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] we just replace our GE Profile micro/oven combo with this microwave and the 800 series oven. i installed them myself. at first, the door on the microwave was hitting the oven, then i re-read the instructions and found my mistake. I had to pull the microwave out and raise it up 3/16", and now it is perfect. All the function on the microwave works great. My wife wasn't sure about the door opening downward, but now likes it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nice unit, part of an oven/microwave pair. It is very pretty. The construction looks and feels super solid. There’s plenty of power, and it’s well modulated for a variety of cooking tasks. I’d give it a 5 of 5 but for one tiny flaw: The LED display is a slightly different tone and shade of cyan than its oven counterpart. Final score: 4
