It is easy to operate, has a sleek control panel, a very roomy interior and is super quiet. It is very deep which makes it a little difficult to reach the back wall for cleaning but this may be because of the height at which I had it installed.

Built in 27” Bosch Microwave

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a custom size 27' built-in for cabinets. I chose the stainless. It has a beautiful stainless interior, almost prettier than the exterior. It is very simple to operate and works well, no burnt food when you select the correct options. When I first got it I thought the clock was defective because it only comes on and lights up when you open the door. So I called the manufacturer Bosch directly and they told me it is a European designed appliance and the clock is made to be energy efficient as required in European countries. I definitely miss the clock because the microwave I replaced had a clock that stayed on, but I've adjusted and do love the way this one heats food, and when it gets hot and steamy inside a fan comes on automatically which is great. So the only reason I gave it 4 stars is because of the clock, otherwise it's a very nice looking and efficient microwave.

This Range is Awesome

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I baked with my new Bosch Slide-in dual fuel the day it was installed! What a perfectly calibrated oven AND the gas stovetop was as wonderful. It is so nice to fully enjoy preparing meals again with my Bosch appliances.

I have some new options that I didn't have before
Example for the micowave it has a warming option which I never had before and I'm loving it
The only thing I do not like is the door you pull down and I'm short so I cannot reach the back of it to keep it clean
Which may be a plus because my husband will have to do that chore
So all in all using both on a regular basis

Happy With Our New Bosch Microwave Oven

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My wife and I are pleased with our new Bosch 500 Series Built-In Microwave Oven, model HMB50152UC/08. We have used the appliance multiple times per day for five weeks. Based on our experiences thus far, we would recommend this appliance to others. The heating modes and features we have used are easy to understand and produce satisfactory results.
This is the first built-in (i.e., purposely designed to be installed inside a kitchen cabinet) microwave we have owned. Our previous two microwaves were countertop models mounted inside our kitchen cabinet using trim kits. We find the new Bosch microwave operates significantly quieter than the model it replaced. (Our Bosch also cost much more, so we expected this improvement.)
Overall, we are happy with the product; however, we offer these suggestions for future improvements:
1. We find Sensor Reheat mode convenient, and we use it frequently; however, this mode nearly always overheats our food. The performance is consistent across a variety of food types and quantities. We are more pleased with the results if we manually stop the microwave when the countdown timer reaches 30 seconds. We recommend a user-adjustable countdown timer ... if the microwave had this feature, we would reduce the Sensor Reheat countdown length by 30 seconds.
2. The end-of-cycle sound is quite weak and difficult to hear. Our appliance's VOLUME is set to HI (the default). We recommend a louder volume. Other reviewers have also made this comment.
3. Many reviewers complain their Bosch microwave failed after three or fewer years; those examples are unfortunate. We believe a customer should expect an appliance in this price range will operate trouble-free for many years. We hope for durability from our new Bosch microwave oven.
