Quit working after 1.5 yrs of use

besides the display being hard to see due to low illumination we didn't have any other issues. that is, until it stopped working after 1.5 yrs. the attached oven below still works fine. no power to the microwave though.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The microwave is a little deep and it's a little hard to clean the rear panel. Also the alarm that goes off when your food is done needs to be a little louder and sound and beep several times before stopping. Hard of hearing people even with hearing aids have a hard time hearing it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] to be honest, I was a little skeptical on this microwave because the door is a pull down. I just had to get used to it. It works great and is also streamlined and easy to use and understand. The little bell indicating time is great!
