picking a nit! really it's the only thing i hate!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] we have slowely been replacing all our appliances with bosch. we have truely been happy with everything. form/function/quality all marks are hit. so, what is the one flaw? The clock, really that's it, the clock of all things. It has been set to dim after a few seconds/minutes to a level so low that it is unreadable. we have changed the clock brightness setting to max but it still auto dims and i know i can just swivel my head and look at another clock, but that would through off my whole routine lol. so if anyone from bosch is reading. help an old dog that can't learn new tricks by fixing the clock... but i guess that won't do me any good.. how about you give me an updated mainboard and a tech to swap it out and we'll call it even. I'll even give you that last star!

So far disappointed!

Purchased this microwave sight unseen. Recently installed along with matching oven and 800 series refrigerator and cooktop. From day one dim display on microwave/ light in display completely went out. Contacted Bosch, display panel replaced and light is still dim in comparison with oven. Waiting to see if it lasts.... also super disappointed with the opening of microwave, difficult to reach into and definitely more difficult to clean inside. If problem continues will look into getting a replacement ( different style perhaps??).

It doesn't let you know when it's DONE!

If there is a "ding" to announce that cooking is done, I don't hear it unless I have my ear to the mircowave, and then the fan usually drowns it out. Big flaw in my opinion. Cooks fine.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

PERFECT FIT!!

More money than we needed to spend on a microwave but we had no choice and so far so good!
