Does it all!

I have had this mixed for 2 years. I make cakes, frostings, and bread doughs. This machine makes it easier for me in that it saves me time in my prep and I can move on to other food items. I'm very happy.

Missing parts

I ordered this mixer but it is missing a beater and dough hook and I can’t seem to get anybody on the phone about the missing parts so I can’t give a good review as I haven’t been able to use it

I got this for a Christmas gift and absolutely love it. I have used a mixer with the offset bowl ever since I was old enough to bake. Adding ingredients is sooo easy. I can see the bottom of the bowl as it rotates to make sure all the
ingredients are incorporated together. When the control panel broke on my last mixer (after about 25 years of baking) I bought a Kitchen-Aid Artisan. It is a sturdy mixer, but, even after a year, I still have unincorporated ingredients in the bottom center of the bowl. I also had trouble adding ingredients because the beater gets in the way. I love having 2 beaters with 4 tines each (8 all together) Andy I truly believe this is why the Sunbeam
has a better design for making sure all the ingredients get mixed together
thoroughly. When I make stiffer doughs, I prefer to finish kneading them by
hand and I do not think any machine can knead dough as well ones own two
hands.

My 30 year Oster kitchen center mixer started to get high speed wobbles the last time I used it, so I knew it was on its last leg. I bought this mixer in December 2018 and love the bright spring green color. I even leave it out on my counter top because it looks like a piece of art and matches my decor colors. My most challenging candy recipe is seafoam and it requires that I add boiling hot sugar to whipped egg whites while mixing. I have to have an offset mixer bowl to do this and the Sunbeam if perfect.

I bought this as a replacement for my 1st Sunbeam Mixer that I had for over 30 years. I still use the mixer the stand broke. I am not to thrilled with this new model. The bowl does not spin as freely or not at all, there is no light and the mixer does not come off the stand. Tried making oatmeal raisin cookies and the bowl kept jumping (yes, it was in the correct position) and the motor got hot. I don't think it will work well enough to mix/knead bread dough. However, for the price it works well enough.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Sorry - but this edition of the Sunbeam mixer does not live up to its "heritage." I bought it to replace an old Sunbeam that I'd gotten years and years of good use out of. Right out of the box I could tell the quality was not there (too light in weight, bowl did not have a click-in mechanism to the turning base). The first time I tried it, there was very little power variation, despite the many "speeds". The beaters did not catch the batter at the side of the bowl, thus making constant swiping with a spatula necessary. The worst part is that during the third time using it, the power completely went out. Turning on and off produced a couple of momentary revs - but it never regained mixing power. Actually, the very worst part is that I threw away the receipt when I bought it, thinking I'd have a quality mixer for a long time. I was sadly mistaken.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
