Great starter mixer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband bought me this mixer 3 years ago, it works great for mashing potatoes and making frostings. The bowl is large enough for big batches and the slide feature of the bowl is helpful.

Heavy Duty Great Mixer

Heavy duty die cast body and the same mixing features as my old one, but with many more speeds. I'm sure it will last me the rest of my life. Very pleased with my purchase.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Shipping was slow, no email telling me when it had shipped, and there was no tracking. The mixer is beautiful and reminds me of my grandma’s, but... The first time I used it was to make a cheesecake and the softened cream cheese was too much for the mixer; bowl not turning and cream cheese just clumped on the beaters. Hoping it will work correctly for cake and cookies.

I was very disappoited that it only came with 1 bowl, I used the smaller bowl all the time. It is made with a lot more plastic than the one I had before. The power seen good, just hope it hold up as well as the last one I had.

I owned a Sunbeam mixer similar to this model for over 15 years, and finally the wheel that turns the bowl quit working. So, when I ordered this one, I thought it would be the same quality. It is not! The batter stuck to the sides of the bowl and to the beaters, and the beaters hardly touched the bottom of the bowl. Plus, when I added ingredients, the bowl actually started to pop up out of the rotating wheel. This is not the quality mixer I expect from Sunbeam, and I am returning it to the store.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
