This mixer was given to me to review it, and I love it! It has made my life so much easier, I mainly use it to make my tortilla dough and it is such a life saver!! I would highly recommend it to any of my friends.

Great color, size & function

The Sunbeam Mix Master is sturdy without being too bulky. It is powerful enough to mix cookie dough or whip potatoes with ease. The red color is great too. I wish it came with two bowls or that the bowls from my old Mix Master would work with this one, but they don't. I received this item as a sample to review

I have recently received this machine as a gift. the mixer looks very sharp the red color reminds me of a sports car. the lines are very smooth and the shape is sleek. it is very easy to operate and easy to clean the markings make it easy to put together. it runs quietly and work strongly with anything you mix even bread dough. the machine is very solid. believe it or not I have the same model mixer that's 20 years older. it still runs great. I believe that this will last just as long!!! this item makes me want to bake and cook more!!!

Beautiful Stand Mixer

The Sunbeam Heritage Stand Mixer* is absolutely beautiful. The one I am reviewing is red with chrome. If you like to leave your mixer out, it will not be an eye sore.
In addition to being beautiful, it is very functional. The stand accommodates a large and small bowl (mine came with the large bowl). The mixer also comes with two types of beaters: standard and kneading. There are many speed levels to choose from.
The stand mixer is nice because you can have the mixer turned on and still have your hands free to in order to add additional ingredients.
I have made cookies, cakes and truffles with my Sunbeam Heritage Stand Mixer. It really made mixing ingredients much more easy.
My only complaint is that the bowl can start to move up and down if the speed is not set to the appropriate level. That is an easy fix though. Just change the speed to meet the consistency of what you are mixing.

Sunbeam Heritage Mixer

We have used this produce several times with no issues. However, when we make a larger quantity of breads and other doughs it seems to run slower and doesn't mix as well. Also, this product is very loud. We received this as a demo product and definitely will use it a lot more, even though its pretty loud.

Red stand mixer pros and cons

I appreciate the color, the sleek look, and the design of The Sunbeam Heritage Series Stand Mixer. It is an added splash of color to the counter, but yet not flashy or obtrusive in size. I like that the mixer comes with the different mixing blades, for beating or breads. It fits well under the cupboard, making it easy to access and use when desired. The mixer is lightweight and with the built-in handle on the top, it is easily moved around the kitchen. This is appreciated, especially with my 13 and 15-year-old children who like to use the mixer when they bake. The mixer has a great selection of speeds, which are easily adjusted with a simple turn of the dial. It is not complicated to set or difficult to see the settings for the variety of speeds. The low-speed was especially nice, as when flower was added to the mix, the flower actually stayed in the ball and did not shoot all over the counter. There was a couple of things that I did not appreciate with the mixer. Although the extrawide bowl was nice in size, it did make it more difficult to incorporate all of the ingredients. It required a lot of manual scraping of the sides of the bowl. This was the case with multiple recipes. The base of the mixer, where the bowl sits, does have the grooves in them, but at the higher speeds I was afraid the bowl was going to come out of the track area. This limited the speed and increased preparation times with some of the recipes. The sunbeam was able to complete all of the tasks my sisters brand-new mixer was able to do. Although, was it times more awkward and time-consuming to use. I do however appreciate this mixer for The general use for several reasons: 1) easier for my children to use on their own. 2) easy to clean. 3) lightweight. 4) keep on the counter is it looks good.

Nice little mixer

I really like this mixer. I did receive it as a sample for review. It has good power for most anything I want to use it for. I did have some difficulty using it for heavy bread doughs and still had to do some hand kneading to get the bread finished, but for everything else it did the job. I really like the bright color and it is easy to clean. It is a nice addition to my kitchen!

I really had fun using this mixer! It's nice to just put everything in the bowl and let the machine do the work! The mixer seems to be very sturdy, is easy to use, and is aesthetically pleasing! I love the red color, and it has a very retro feel. I did have to scrape down the sides occasionally, but it wasn't a big deal, so that doesn't bother me. I've never used a stand mixer before, so I can't compare the performance to other mixers, but I thought it was great! I did receive this mixer as a sample to review, so I can't really say how I feel about it from a value perspective, either, but the price seems reasonable to me. Overall, I loved it!
