Nice mixer. I made all my Christmas cookies with it. I got the indigo blue-my favorite color! Problem: Why does this not come with the small bowl? If you're buying a mixer, it should come with both bowls. I should not have to buy this separately. Also, of course, my old Sunbeam bowls don't fit. You had to change the design just enough to force me to spend more. Otherwise, love it.

I bought this in January 2016. I'd had a Sunbeam Mixmaster for years, having received it as a wedding gift. It worked GREAT. When it finally gave out, I bought this one with the dough hooks, thinking I could easily make homemade bread. The first recipe I tried for Italian bread was a trying experience. The mixer bounced all over the counter, and I had to hold on to it to keep it from bouncing on the floor. That said, the mixer works great for cookies and cakes. But bread--I'm not sure. I wish Sunbeam would list at least one recipe using their product vs. using a recipe one off the Internet or a recipe book. There must be some changes one has to make. This is NOT a KitchenAid. There is a small book included with the mixmaster with a few simple recipes, but NONE for bread. It would be a great help. We could then adapt the other recipes we've grown fond of over the years. Overall, I give it four stars. Two stars for breadmaking.

I discovered that the main Beater attachments are NOT INCLUDED in this Set. Causing me to have to come up with more money to order them. This has led to disappointment with the overall product. If company would include the regular blender beaters, then YES I would recommend this Mixer.

After reading reviews and comparing to other stand mixers, I decided on the Sunbeam over the KitchenAid to give to my daughter for her first stand mixer. I own 3 stand mixers and own a small bakery My daughter and I have been baking together for 20+ years, so we are not novices. This mixer was a huge disappointment. It wobbled and jumped all over the counter when it was given anything more than a "cake batter" consistency to mix. Dry ingredients "poof" out of the bowl even on low speeds. Not sure what purpose this mixer will serve.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I received this for Christmas last year-yes, I really wanted this for a present. I love it. The higher the speed the more it rotates and by adjusting the slide at the base it gets closer to the bowl for better mixing. I'm looking forward to getting more parts to do different things with it. Odered it in black, but should have gotten the red. Still happy with it no matter what the color is!

The first Sunbeam mixer lasted 20 years, the 2nd lasted over 30 years and so we purchased a new one recently. We were able to pick it out from the web site and never had to leave the house. It is very attractive and we are convinced it will last at least 20 years. We love it already.
