DO NOT BUY

I bought this to replace another sunbeam mixer that stopped turning on its own. I just took it out of the box to use and it does not turn well. It took 45 minutes to beat egg whites. I would have been better off keeping my old mixer or buying another brand.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Sunbeam Mixer

I grew up with my Mother using nothing but Sunbeam mixers so I bought this one for my daughter as a Christmas gift. After only a few uses she complained that the bowl would no longer spin. Now I have a practically new mixer that won't work. I can not believe that we can not buy quality appliances. Will never buy another Sunbeam mixer.

The only problem I have with this mixer is the turntable doesn't turn on its own. Other than that, it makes great mashed potatoes (no lumps).

Nice mixer for the cost $$$

I bought this mixer in Tangerine. I also got a Heritage hand mixer in silver. Both work perfect for anything most people would use this for. It is not a commercial mixer like some expect. But 99% of us don't use it like that anyway. We make cookies, cake, maybe mashed potatoes. And as far as I am concerned it has always met my expectations. So I do recommend this mixer, and the colors are a cool touch.

I had a wonderful Sunbeam Stand Mixer that I bought with Green Stamps in 1960. This mixer worked great until about 2 years ago. Naturally, I would buy another Sunbeam Mixer. It has been okay, but now the Tilt button has popped out and seems chipped. I am having difficulty finding if I can even replace the part.

Bowl will not spin

I have been buying the heritage series for over ten years because I like the double beaters. I buy two new ones every year or every other year depending how long they last because I use them often and the motor in the base tend to go bad after a year or two. 2015 I bought two more and was horrified when the bowls did not spin. I have exchanged them twice. Still the bowl does not spin. Why did they take the motor out of the base that made the bowl spin? If I wanted to turn the bowl myself I would use a hand mixer. I liked the old ones so much I keep them hoping that I find someone to replace the motor in the base. I have about ten of them. Please put the motor back in the base because this mixer is driving me crazy with me having to turn the bowl. I would hate to have to get Kitchen Aids with the one mixer. Or please tell me how to fix the base motors in the many that I have. Help
