You keep asking me to write a review - I have no complaints except I do miss my old Sunbeam, Heritage: Sturdy, double motor, however it is too old for new parts, so i am left with the current options. I tis hard to be positive when you miss your old friend (about 15 years)

How do I remove the bowl?

This is my first stand mixer and I was so excited to use it. After a few trials and errors I figured it out but I cannot remove the bowl from the turntable. Is there a release button? Thanks for any help you may give.

To remove the bowl from the turntable of the mixer, please follow instructions below:
1. Once you have selected the bowl you wish to use, move the turntable bowl selector switch to the proper setting –the large bowl icon if you are using the large bowl; the small bowl icon if you are using a small bowl.
2. Gently rotate the bowl counterclockwise until it drops into position or is sitting flat (A). Then rotate the bowl clockwise to lock into position (B). The bowl should feel firm with no movement.
NOTE: Mixing bowls should NEVER be used in a conventional oven, microwave oven, on top of the range or on any other heated surface. If mixing bowls are scratched or chipped, do not use mixer.
If the bowl will still not come off, it would be recommended to get assistance from another individual or a service center in your area or give us a call at (800) 458-8407. Thank you!

Purchased this as a gift for my daughter, and the fact that it's pink is perfect! She just loves it! I had purchased one of these mixers years ago for myself and knew they are dependable and heavy duty. Powerful Performance

I have had my Heritage Stand Mixer for over four years and no matter what I do with my mixer from simple cake mixes or bread dough, it totally preforms! It does for me what my last mixer couldn't handle! I recommend this mixer for all recipes and the price was definitely worth it!

13 years ago my mother in law bought me the stand mixer hertiage edition. Sadly due to fault of my own I had damaged the cord. I had heared all the rave about the kitchen aid mixers so I bought one, and let me just say it in NO WAY replaces my sunbeam. Even with the short in the cord I am using it over the new kitchen aid. Everytime I use the kitchen aid I am disappointed and upset that I ever spent that kind of money on the product. The sunbeam Hertiage series give the best results of any I have ever used. You just absolutely can not go wrong with this product. I use the mixer daily on from scratch recipes and make large quanities. It is hands down a great product.

Plastic gears fail

I have a Mixmaster Heritage Stand Mixer and the plastic gears failed. Sunbeam does not sell replacement gears so the mixer is now headed to the dumpster. Unfortunate that they cheaped out on gears and ever worse that they don't sell replacement parts. Not a company I can endorse any longer.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
