The ridiculously short electrical cord is a huge negative. I have to keep a heavy duty extension cord available to use it on my counter. My electrical outlets are on the underside of my cabinets (not on the back splash) so I am forced to either have the grill stuck a distance away in a corner from me or haul out the extension cord which is very long. If you buy this, include the purchase price of a heavy duty cord. The other negative is that the grill surface is very small. The heating elements are not sufficient, Pancakes burn on one side while remain uncooked on the other.
I now have had this griddle for five month and only used it to cook pancakes on Sunday. It now sticks and is chipping. Yes, I've always used a plastic spatula. I would not pay $5 for this. I'm giving it away and pulling out my 30 year old griddle.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great griddle!

I started using this griddle about a month ago and am so pleased with how it's worked. The thing I like best is that it heats quickly and evenly across the surface. It's also nice that I can use the griddle without using oil because of its non-stick surface. I've used it for many different occasions and meals, including eggs for breakfast and cooking meats and vegetables for lunch and dinner. I'm single, so it's nice to be able to heat this up in a jiffy for a quick meal instead of the cumbersome process of using larger appliances in my kitchen.
It was important to me to choose a griddle that would be easy to clean and store as well. The griddle/grill plate is easy to remove and wash separately - definitely a plus!
Overall, this is a great value for the money and worked even better than I expected it to - a fabulous addition to my kitchen.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I received this griddle for review purposes, and it met or exceeded almost all my expectations. It heated up very quickly, and the food slid off the non stick surface with ease. The only issues I found was that the cooking surface was not large enough to cook more than 2 pancakes and the griddle is quite bulky and hard to clean and store.
I would recommend this to a friend!

It saves time... Easy to clean... Cooks evenly and perfectly every time. I use it daily and its still completely nonstick. You can cook multiple things at once which saves time.

Great Grill/So So Griddle

I was really happy to receive my electric grill/griddle because I am not allowed to have an outdoor grill at my complex but I like the simplicity of grilling. I loved using the grill, it seared my meat and caramelized it really good. I used the griddle for pancakes and I was not as impressed because there was a line down the middle where they were a little burned in the spot where the heat source is. Using the grill I felt that the room was ample and sufficient but using the griddle side I felt like the surface was a little smaller than I expected. Clean up was super easy and fast of the grill side. The griddle has a couple of dark lines from where the heat radiates, it feels a little sticky. The power plug fit pretty loosely into the griddle, but it worked fine. The grill/griddle was also chipped right out of the box, that was disappointing, but it was small and on the lip of the grill so it didn't end up being a problem. I received this product as a sample to review.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Ceramic Grill

The DuraCeramic reversible grill is a great product. I have used both sides and love how easy it is to use and clean! I received this grill as a sample and have used it at least three times a week. The grill cooks evenly and is super easy to operate. The only thing I would have preferred differently is the length of the power cord. It was just a little short. I Love this grill/griddle!

From the time I took the griddle out of the box the last time I used it I have not had any problems cooking anything on it. I have gone from breakfast with eggs and sausage two steaks and hamburgers on the grill side and everything came out really really well I have no complaints about this item.
