Second time its stopped working

I bought this coffee maker after our previous one broke, not even two months later and it stopped working luckily i was able to fix it and now again its stopped working. I used to love this brand but I'm super disappointed with it now that we've had issues with this one again and again.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Dissapointed Quality

I bought ours June 24, 2016. This morning March 6, 2017, it failed to work. This model JWX23 was used only 5 months at our home during this time period . This morning when the select button was pressed the brew light came on, immediately there 5 beeps and the brew light turned off. What a time for Mr Coffee to fail as we had received 5 inches new snow overnight at our Sierra Home.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Just stopped working

Yes, it works . . .

Recently bought this coffee maker. Nice looking design. Small unit for 12 cup brewing. So far, it does exactly what it was intended to do if you follow the manufacturer's instructions. It brews 12 cups in under 12 minutes. Does a simple delay start program. Has a clean cycle. Lid for filter and water reservoir is articulated so that once you add the filter/coffee, the lid can be closed. Then just lift the smaller lid to add your water while watching the level markings. Or keep the entire lid open and add your water--either way. It has one interesting feature that I never saw before: two cutouts in the reservoir wall just above the 12-cup level. If you overfill (past the 12 cup measure), the overflow will come out of these two holes onto your countertop. So, don't over-fill on a full pot. Watch your level. Not much lost in steam during the brew cycle. By having to fill accurately, you also won't ever have any extra water stagnating in the reservoir. Brewed coffee is hot and of proper strength. Cannot speak of longevity having just bought it.

Easy to use

After 15 years of service my old Mr Coffee maker stopped working. I purchased this one and love it. Easy instructions and easy to use. I only wish the water window was on both sides as this one faces the wall.
I would recommend this to a friend!
