The case is excellent quality, fits perfectly, still pocketable. I ordered the steel blue color and am very disappointed in the reality vs the name. It's more of an aqua or even turquoise color. Ugly. But I ordered it online and couldn't evaluate the color ahead of time. It's still a great case and I'll live with the color. I hated the mask textured screen protector and took it off almost immediately. The MOTO G has a gorilla glass screen so I think it will be OK without the protector. The rubber ridge around the screen is very protective. In spite of the color and screen protector, I love the case.
Pros: High quality, Durable, still good in pocket
Cons: ugly color annoying screen protector

I am SO glad I bought this case. I wasn't sure if I would like it because I didn't want anything too bulky, but it is just right. It has the perfect mix of protection and style. As others have said the buttons on the side are a little stiff, but nothing too serious. It kind of works good because buttons are not accidentally being pressed while in a purse or pocket. Love the screen protector that is included as well - can't even tell there is one on! Overall I am really glad I purchased it!

This is my second Otterbox for a Moto G. This one was a Christmas gift, along with a Moto G. Gift recipient was pleased except for the color scheme. She would have preferred to have the product colored completely in lilac rather than lilac and grey. The grey lent a masculine appearance which she didn't like. Other than that a nice product.

Otterbox is a great product. For my Moto G I opted for the slimmer design of the commuter version. I was pleasantly surprised when it arrived. It was as sleek as its pictures appeared on screen. However, I was disappointed when the screen protection was not attached to the case. This lets in dust and other small particles, and it didn't seem to fit completely under the case. I may look around for another screen protector but I think otter box would have a five star product correcting this flaw.

This is my first experience with Otterbox. I really debated between the commuter and the defender. I finally decided that I would go with the commuter and trust that the screen would be protected enough from falls (my main fear) as the outer edging extends up /over the glass. Unless I happen to drop it on rocks/ pointed objects, a flat surface won't touch the glass face. [After reading all the reviews, I decided not to mess with the protective sticker that comes with the case].
I like the 2-walled protection. As other reviewers have stated, there is a rubber case that goes on first, then the hard shell over that.
I bought the "lilac" and honestly feel that it is true to color as shown. I don't think "lilac" is an appropriate name, but more of a magenta or boysenberry. It is an attractive off-purple color.
As expected, cut outs and buttons all line up perfectly on my (Republic Wireless) Moto G. As stated in other reviews, you do have to push the side buttons a little harder but it makes sense. Not hard to do.
Slides in and out of pockets easily - not too bulky. Rounded edges really help with that too.

I just got a new Cell phone and I wanted a great case for it. Came across Otter Box and I have to say - this is an awesome case. Fits my phone to a 't'. I would highly recommend their covers for any electronic item or cell. I will definitely buy from this company again!
