I have had mine for 12 years, I still love it. Yes there is some smoke that leaks around the doors, but it still hold temps well. I can smoke up to 4 butts on it at one time. They will touch each other. With a rib rack you can do enough to feed the whole family. I want another one for a second home, hope it's back in stock soon.

I've had my Longhorn Combo for about three years and it's stood up to a lot of abuse. The construction is heavy duty and the assembly was fairly easy and straight forward. I've made some slight modifications such as upgrading the temperature gauges and using gasket sealer on the firebox, but really nothing more is needed. I use it every weekend, typically for grilling and smoking and with a little regular maintenance it's lasted really well. I keep it covered and used mildly soapy water to periodically clean the exterior and make sure to keep the interior well seasoned with regular use and vegetable oil. I do wish, now that I'm using it more, that the steel was heavier gauge and that they had higher end options for offsets where the smoker is welded together, but it's great for the casual barbecuer.

I love my grill! Best one ive ever bought! As for those that are saying its rusted! Its useless! WELL, # 1You cant just cook on it and not keep it clean! You have to keep it seasoned! Just like cast iron pans! Most any product will last a long time if your just not LAZY, and take care of it! It miggt take an hour out of your precious life but its worth it! And #2. You have to cover the fricken thing when not in use! I am on my 4th season, it stays at camp, and before i leave I clean it, oil it and cover it! Vegetable oil by the way!!! Oh and i pretty much cook on it every day from May 1 till. October 1!

I purchased this grill a little over a year and a half ago. Since then I have had a lot of problems. The ignitor was the first thing to go out, Then I had serious issues with the outside paint flaking off, followed by rust. Then both of my temperature gauges went out. The next issue I had was with the shelf for the grill grates. They corroded and disintegrated to the point where they would no longer support the grill grates, rendering the part of my grill I use the most useless. When I called Oklahoma Joes they said they couldn't help me. I would not recommend purchasing this grill, or anything else from this company based on the service I received.

I bought this grill a few years ago like many of the others who wrote a review. The gas side has completely rusted out and needs new parts welded in to use. The smoker side works great. This is a huge waste of space since it cannot be utilized properly. So many other choices when spending this kind of money.

My husband and I recently purchased this frill and to be frank we are really dissatisfied with the quality of your product. A lot of the welding is sloppy and in some places it isn’t even touching both sides it was meant to weld together. The smoker lid has a bend in it and doesn’t close completely, this allows a lot of the smoke to escape basically defeating the purpose of the smoker itself. We had such high hopes for this grill and we spent several months saving up to purchase it only to receive a product that was sub par.

I had been looking at the Longhorn and similar hybrid combos for a while, roughly 2 years. I finally decided to invest the $ for my 45th birthday and I am not disappointed at all. I preseason the inside for 3 straight days by lightly misting fryer oil. Its inaugural smoking was pork shoulder and chuck beef. Both recipes from the Oklahoma Joe website. Recipes range from beginner to expert and are easy to follow with great details and pictures, which is an added bonus. Both meats left everyone satisfied and jealous of my new obsession.

I've had this combo for 3 years and I heading out today to buy a Webber. My last grill lasted 15 years and this one began to rust within the first year. I kept it covered and would touch up any rust areas with high heat paint, but it just got worse. The bottom of the smoker lost it's paint coating after a couple of uses, the inside rusted up on the walls and bottom. The lower shelf has a big hole.
