Had one for 2 years now and it didn't last. The outside looks new, but the propane side has just about disintegrated. All 3 burners are fine, but where they connect to the bbq it's just rust. I had to use scrap metal to hold everything in place. Had cheap bbq's that lasted way longer. The smoker/charcoal side is fine and works well for smoking or charcoal grilling. Love the bbq when new, but won't buy another due to poor quality. Have a 30 year old webber that has needed parts replaced, but never rusted like this.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We are very new to smoking and we thought that this would be the perfect one to start out with. We love our Oaklahoma Joes Smoker, although we are having problems with water getting into our Firebox it makes it hard to smoke in the not so best weather. The grease catcher is a little small, we wish we had one for each side. We also struggle with the temperature gages, we use an in the meat thermometer, also. The push button Igniter does not work for the gas side.

Received the “Longhorn” for Father’s Day 5 years ago and love it, love it, love it!!! I guarantee you will too. My only problem has been getting occasional replacement parts to keep it perfect because I’m trained that way. OK Joe needs to kick some butts on the supply chain because, clearly, the current route/suppliers ain’t getting the job done. So get it done OR lose out to your competitors.

A good way to cooking in different ways.

I've had this grill for a little over 2 years and I have learned at lot about smoking within that amount of time. The reason I got this grill was because I was intrigued about smoking foods. These was the perfect grill for me at the time, I can grill all my foods and learn about smoking foods. Controlling the temp can be challenging depending on the weather. The temp gauge was slightly problematic but I was able to figure out a solution to be more consistent with temp control. With this particular grill it's a good size for just the family but if you're inviting more family over, you are limited to certain amount of space and time. I recently had malfunction with the igniter for the propane side that caused a minor incident but no one was hurt. After going through a journey about smoking food I am aiming to get a offset smoker that has a larger cooking area. Although I have not used the stove top part of the grill, I really enjoyed the smoking experience better even though the grilling part was convenient and quicker.

This is the best grill that I have ever owned. I can not say enough good things about it. I have had to replace a few parts on it, but that was just normal wear.
