Totally awesome if you love to grill

I bought mine approximately 12 years ago, and it’s preformed beautifully. From what I see in the negative reviews are people that haven’t read the care instructions, cook at way to high of a heat, and don’t take care of it between cooks or seasons. In those years that I have owned mine, I have replaced only the tent covers, gauges, a cover and of course and propane tanks. It gets used all year long and at least two times a week in the warmer , and it’s outside all year long. I’m presently in the market for a new grill, have done a ton of research, and decided to buy this same grill again. It takes time to get to know how to use it, but in the end, I don’t think their is a better product.

We bought this grill in 2021, the inside of the gas side is no longer usable. It's been used maybe 20 times, and has not been in the weather. A lot of money going to the road.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

longhorn combo grille

I have owned this combo grille for over 10 years now and has never let me down, and in those ten years I would have to count on both hands the number of grilles I would have had to purchase to replace it. the money I saved buying this grille alone was worth the purchase. I rarely use the gas side but it comes in handy when I need it. the smoker side is a beast . the only short coming has been the grates if that's a indicator as to how much I use this grille. I do have a particular skill set that would like to see if I can make the fire box interchange with a pellet burner. not sure this could be a thing but something you guys might want to explore

Absolutely worth every dollar!!! Everything a person could want in a grill.
Replaced my grill with a Longhorn and I Love this thing. Nice and heavy construction, ample cooking chamber sizes, and I appreciate being able to smoke my ribs and seer some salmon AT THE SAME TIME.
I'll always be an Oklahoma Joe's fan from now on.

Quality questionable

Purchased this the Longhorn smoker, charcoal and gas grill 2 years ago with high expectations.
1st issue: When assembling I received the wrong leg located on the back side of charcoal portion.
2nd issue: The Oklahoma cover is of poor quality.
Short time paid a canvass repair guy to patch in due to wear.
Most recent issue: The back vent located on the backside of the gas grill is very low quality unlike the main body of this grill. I need to replace and Oklahoma doesn’t even list this as a replacement part.

This is my second Longhorn. I have had one that lasted literally 2 years and I chalk it up to user error. Sonic decided to buy a new one and literally on the 2 year mark it fell apart. It was rusting away just like the last one. It's beautiful at first but once it gets rust it's downhill quickly. I spent a small fortune between the two grills. I could have bought a Chargrill that my father has had for almost 10 years and had never had anything go bad or rust. He changed the burners last year but rock solid.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I've always used an electric smoker, so there is a learning curve to this, but so far everything's turned out well and I have thoroughly enjoyed my Oklahoma Joe smoker. It's perfect because it gives you the convenience of gas grilling for quick meals after long day at work, Throw back to the charcoal grill days and the taste of a charcoal burger, can't beat it. And the smoker is a family event on Sunday and it's been wonderful. Love my combo smoker. Definitely a way way better smoker than an electric smoker in my opinion
I would recommend this to a friend!
