Hard to clean

I bought this 2 years ago and it’s been a pretty good deal. But on the grilling side it is very hard to clean.

I've had mine for alittle over 5 years now and I like it alot. I don't use the grill side mich but use the smoker side all the time. Highly recommend if you smoke for just your family and for days you don't feel like lighting up some coals. I'm going to switch to the full smoker just because I need a new one and really smoke and use charcoal more than propane. Again highly recommend.

Overall pretty good smoker

I bought this smoker about a year ago and everything is starting to rust! I’ve already had to replace a few parts on the smoker. The welds are starting to come undone and a few times I see fire leaking out of welds on the smoker and when I say that I see flames from the smoker box and grill next to it on the bottom. When I do smoke on it overall does a good job.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great combo!

I bought this combo in October-2016 and have replaced the bottom panel, ...3 burners & flame deflectors.
The backside of the gas grill has a set of vents that need to be replaced!
However, they were tac-welded in place thus I'll need to fabricate new ones!
Also, the temp gauges are not real consistent/accurate, etc!
The firebox damper rusted pretty quick thus needs periodic maintenance.
Overall, for an ~8yr old pit I really have enjoyed the use of both ends, ie, smoking turkeys & making venison jerky to grilling steaks, burgers or shrimp!

An amazing combination grill/smoker

I’ve had my OKLAHOMA JOE’s Longhorns grill since 2019. I love it. I use it all the time - year round - even in the snow, but especially during the summer. My brisket is so much better than other smokers or the oven. My steaks always come out perfectly. Everything cooks evenly. I have to get a few replacement parts - but that is to be expected considering I use it year round. I’m grateful to Oklahoma Joe for creating such a wonderful combination grill/smoker.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great smoker

My wife bought this smoker for me Father’s Day last year, I have waited to review until now. I have smoked several pounds of meat, from brisket to whole chickens. This is by far the best smoker I have ever owned. The only mods I have added is the heat diffuser plate from lava lock. I am in the middle of a pork shoulder smoke now and couldn’t be happier with the outcome. I would recommend this smoker to anyone. I try to smoke or use the grill side at least once a week. I keep it covered and under cover at all times and have had no issues with rust or burnt metal at all. Photos will come after the smoke.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The longevity of this product is less than desirable. For the price you would think it would last. Even covered, the iron rust and the burner shield supports fall apart. They are spot welded, and not easily replaced. I have owned bbq/smolers less than half the cost last alot longer. It is big, but thats all it is. Just big. 2 stars for 2 years.
