designed to fail

The interior of this product is tack welded and failed shortly after purchase. The grease trap bracket is also tacked and has never worked. I don't cook out much but I've had to rig it myself to get enough usage out of it to warrant the purchase price. Also, the cover alone, of which I've bought two, is the quality of crepe paper. Why would a company stake it's name to something like that?
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great Smoker and Grill...!!!

I have had this grill for over 8 years and it has served me well... I have smoked and charcoal grilled and Gas Barbqued on the thus unit... the stove top burner is great for seafood boils and sides .. I would recommend this to anyone.. oh and it is still going strong... just buy a cover for it and it seems to last...
I would recommend this to a friend!

Not the best for the long haul

This will be our second summer with this grill. We loved it at first , it’s always been covered and kept out of the weather , second summer starting and everything is rusted . The grill plates and grate keep falling in because the inside is rusted out ..so we can’t use the grill side anymore .
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Longhorn Combo

I have had my Longhorn Combo for 6 years. It has been a very good grill for my family. It’s great for what ever I want to cook and how I want to cook it. I am now having problems with the grease shields for the gas flame. The metal strips that hold the shields above the flame have come unattached from the inside gas grill area. Nothing for them to set on to hold them up. Still a great buy. I will purchase another combo set up.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I've had this beast for over a year, it's cooks well, the lid doesn't let smoke leak out, I have nothing to say but get this grill. You won't regret it.

I'm pretty disappointed in this grill as the rails for the gas side that hold the grates up has rusted/burned away and so has the rails for the burner tubes.
Also I'm not sure why they did the drain the way they did but it makes it a pain to keep the gas side cleaned out, they should have made a bigger hole to the drain pan so that you could push all the wasted into it.
You would think that the money paid for this smoker/grill that it would hold up better so I'm disappointed.
I do like the concept of a smoker side and gas grill all in one, but the craftmanship needs to become better before I would purchase another one.

Bad Quality!! Inside heat destroys the surface

I bought this grill about a months ago and have grilled in it 4 times. The the surface underneath and above, has peeled away and started rusting. This grill looked nice and versatile with the propane, grill, smoker and range top. Very disappointed that it is not holding up, especially for how much they cost. I’ve had cheaper one, that I’ve had for years that don’t look like this. Quality is crap and way over priced for what you get.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Not worth the money!

My wife purchased an Oklahoma Joe longhorn Combo for me as a father's Day gift about 4 years ago. I loved it at first. I do love the fact that I can cook with gas, charcoal or wood. My issues with the unit is that the gas grill part has completely burnt up on the inside. The grates, heat deflectors, burners and everything on the inside has just deteriorated to the point that I can't use it anymore.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
