The best for the money

To all the people complaining about the smoker....did yall take time to season the smoker after you assembled it? And season it periodically after? If not that is why your having rust issues plus it's a good idea to clean the smoker after every use I have had my Oklahoma joe smoker for 4 years now and I have no rust issue at all

One Heavy Longhorn!!!

I recieved the Longhorn Grill as a gift for Fathers Day. I love the grill and smoker. They work very well for their intended purpoose and the product is pretty well built. Here is ky complaint. The grill weighs over 200 pounds in total. The weight on the handle which is used to move the grill is 91 POUNDS!!! This is true and checked with multiple scales to avoid exaggeration. I am 70 years old and that is a lot of weight to pick up and try to move. I am lucky as I can just barely move it. There are many people my age who aren't as lucky healthwise and probably can't or couldn't use this grill. I am in the process of redesigning the grill as I write this review. I have cut the legs by the handle shorter and am installing heavy duty casters. There is a quick manufacturing fix to this basic engineering problem. Move the wheels closer to the grills center of gravity when building it. I just want to make your potential buyers aware of this problem. Once again, I like the grill/smoker, but this thing is heavy and hard to move!!! I said I would not recommend this grill to a friend because most of them are my age and they wouldn't enjoy moving this thing anymore than I do.

It’s been a decent grill/smoker at all for a first go. But it’s been hard to find replacement parts for this item and it seems to have rusted out pretty quickly despite being covered. Although that’s been thoroughly documented through other reviews. Temperature control isn’t easy and I’ve come to realize why people end up going the pellet route. Can’t even find things as simple as grill grates or gas accessories easily. Way too much hassle and I doubt other brands are this challenging.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This is an amazing unit. Those that post negative comments about this and rust etc. you need to maintain your smoker/ grill. It's your fault it rusts not OKJ. Just like anything it takes maintenance. I would buy it again and again. Take down your negative comments about rust when it's clearly your own fault. #maintenanceiskey

Smoked ribs for Mother's Day. It was easy and turned out great. Everyone loved them. Used charcoal and mesquite wood. No leftovers. Great grill! Love it!

A bit difficult to put together by myself but doable. Love all the aspects of this setup. I’ve never used an LP grill but thought it might come in handy for a quick need. Side smoker is awesome, easy to use and works great

It took me 2 hours to construct but once I was done I was smoking within within an hour and a 1/2 of completion. This is a really great product the baffle on top of the stack makes it really easy to control the heat. I look forward to honing in my skills
