Excellent so far

So far ... excellent. Put together myself and no problems / no difficulties! Note you should FOLLOW the instructions as it makes things a lot easier!
Cooking on it has been great. VERY hot so if you have all three burners on it will get super hot super quickly! Some playing around with which to keep on - off - low to get the best results as I normally am only cooking for three of us.
Charcoal side was used only once with great results!
Make sure you oil the grates before use. So far we have loved this - I was VERY hesitant buying a single unit with all three products as one going bad makes all three bad but this seems to be built well and sure cooks great!!!

The gas side rusted out already, the grill is not even 2 years old. Is definatly not worth the money.

Quality product, easy to assemble, flexible cooking methods. I use my Longhorn Grill 3x per week. I use all 3 cooking types. Center of attention at backyard cook outs.

Fair for the price point

I had read countless reviews and watched dozens of videos regarding this smoker grill combo. While I purchased this smoker grill combo to 1) replace an aged out gas grill and 2) dip my toe into the smoked meats pool. I was initially hesitant to purchase an Oklahoma Joe's smoker as every forum I read mentioned having to modify or fix issues with the smoker. However, this was consistently rated as the best entry level smoker on the market.
During assemby I found several points of damage made during production and one of the handles was not drilled to allow installation. After having assembled and used the smoker several times I can see what others were referring to. The firebox and smoker itself leak terribly. Minimal welding along seams may "cut costs" but this contributes to air gaps and make it very difficult to maintain temperature. It will take considerable repairs and/or modifications to get this to the point I'd like it to be.
However all of this said for the price point this is an excellent entry level smoker. It will never compete against a hand built model at double the price point, nor should you expect it to. The gas grill works great and the whole piece looks fantastic.
I would recommend this to a friend!

smoke escapes

Just used my smoker/grill for the first time to smoke a pork shoulder today... The smoke escapes through EVERY CRACK instead of the smoke box only! There appears to be more smoke escaping everywhere but the smoke stack, and with my 15 years of experience with other smokers, the smoke should only escape through the stack. I recently had another Oaklahoma Joe's smoker (smoker only) and did not have this issue. I have to constantly check the temperature because the smoke is escaping and not being kept inside to cook the meat.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Smoker/grill combo (propane & charcoal)

We bought this a little over 2 yrs ago and the propane side is all rusted through on all 3 burners and the burner cover holders are rusted off. We even cover it when not in use,1st time ever for any grill we owned. Obviously it doesn't matter,definitely not worth the high price to purchase.

Love at 1st sight but not everything last forever!

I've had my grill for almost 3yrs now. love it at first, still do but the trophy wife effect is LONG gone!! The extra thin piece of metat that supposed to seal in things is now warped and more wavy than a crawling snake. Talk about rusting!! Every time I use the grill I make sure it's clean and dry afterwards, i clean out all the charcoal, i even got the required grill cover. Yet still everytime I used the grill I feel like a treasure hunter cleaning rust off an old sunken Spanish ship in Port Royal Jamaica!! Still love my "trophy" grill, I would love it more if the whole thing was made from the same material as the rack (still holding up). That's it from me. Time to get back to the brisket on the grill but i'm close to trading it in for a newer, younger, better version.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Unimpressed, long term review

It works, with modifications. fire box on smoker is not air tight, even remotely. Draft control is impossible without modification. Temperature gauges both stopped working after a year. Gas grill element covers broke after a year and there are no parts for this grill. I would not buy again
