Better quality

I bought this as my dream grill smoker cause we are in Alaska and don't have a lot of choices.
But the craftsmanship is poor. This smoker grill leaks so bad!
Then the gauges keep fogging up. Still using it but smoking on it is a joke.. then to make things worse, the shipping to Alaska for a gasket, etc is like taking my first born.. they charge us so much more than the lower 48.. we are part of America!
I wont be buying anything from these companies again!
Sad America made doesnt mean anything anymore..
DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!

I love my longhorn

The Longhorn is the BEST cooker I have ever had. The only thing that I didn't like, was the door for the gas side would not close all the way, I am guessing that 1 of the welds must have pull a little because the door was just a little off. I wasn't taking this big thing apart, to return to the store (way to much work) so I took a fine metal file and work down the edge until it closed. not really a big deal. but don't feel this should have had to be done. I STILL LOVE MY LONGHORN COOKER. I cook on my Longhorn 2-4 times a week and every weekend.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I have owned many cars, seen airplanes and aircraft carriers, but I'm confident the OK Joes Longhorn is my favorite thing made of steel! The grill is incredible alone, and the large grill burners and side burners are great, but the smoker and offset smoke box converted me from a mediocre dad griller into a pitmaster. the ability to offset smoke or barbecue any meat of any size (including an entire deer, flock of chickens or school of fish), with any fuel (charcoal, wood, propane), at any temperature for any length of time.... The Longhorn offset smoking and thermometer gives me the control to get any cut of anything cooked right without much talent. I even smoke or dry tomatoes, peppers, herbs or salt for the holidays. Amazing!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great Setup

This Combo Smoker & LPG Gas Grill is an ideal all in one setup. Read many reviews where people say & do actually add extra seals BUT are not required if you put it together properly & tighten all the nuts & bolts correctly. Even to move the Combo the handle is sufficient as long as you fully tighten the nuts & bolts. My one works great, do not use much wood at all. Cook whole roasts etc in 6 to 8 hours at about 120°c. I looked into purchasing the Highland or the bigger Longhorn & unless your cooking a whole carcass the Combo is the choice. You can still fit two pizzas next to each other diagonally on either smoker or gas grills. The Combo still has the equivalent cooking area to the Longhorn. Cleaning up is relatively easy due to having a shared fat drain for both smoker & gas cooking area's.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great grill if had thicker grate edges. They rust away after 3 years.

Fantastic Product for the money.

One year old now and work as good as the day we bought it. We mostly use the charcoal portion of the grill but have enjoyed the out come of the side smoker, Thanksgiving turkey came out perfect and made me look like a professional. slight rust showing due to out in the elements, lightly brush on a little olive oil and rust color disappears.

HORRIBLE CHEAP MAKE

Compete waste of our money. The thermometers both broke after barely any use. The igniter for the propane broke before ever using it so have to use a lighter when we use it. The part you can cook with a pan on completely broke off before ever using! The wheels don’t even turn on ours. Big hunk of junk! Will never buy another OJ product.
