I've never had a grill so easy to use. The temperature control is fantastic and very accurate. Lighting is a snap (literally !) and grill surface space makes grilling for a crowd a breeze. I use this grill a lot ! because it makes grilling and smoking a breeze.

I bought the 4 burner Char-Broil Infrared Grill years ago and I have loved it from day one. It grills better than my son's expensive Weber. It never flares and cooks evenly across the entire grill face. I have kept it outside and it has weather Houston heat, rain, humidity and 2 hurricanes and still looks new. The only thing that I have replaced is a couple of the burners (due to humidity) and several of the infared sheets. We probably grill at least 3 times a week. We have since moved to the Colorado mountains. I will never own anything but a Char-Broil.

My second one!

This is the second one I've owned! After rebuilding my first one, I passed it on to my son. It was his first grill as he was learning so I thought it would be a nice starter! He is still using it weekly! My wife and I cook two to three times a week. anything from burgers to briskets, chicken to brats. We love our grill! all of our friends envy us. I tell them how reliable it is and cooks so evenly. I always recommend they purchase one for themselves. My wife and I are, and will be Char-Broil fans for life! Thank you

Became a fan of this type heating ("infrared") when I had another manufacturer's grill that used a indirect system, with briquettes, but is no longer manufactured. Was not able to keep patching it together.

Compared to my charbroil Red i think that this grill is inferior. It's not as well made nor do i expect it to last as long. I cooks well. The charbroil Red has draws for storage the signature series does not. The Red had grill lights this doesn't. The Hood on the red was one piece stainless. The hood on this grill is multiple parts with painted metal. The Charbroil red was mostly stainless steel this grill has more painted metal. I wouldn't buy this grill again as it is overpriced.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
