Terrible Customer Service

I bought this washer and the compatible dryer about a month ago and I was so excited. The day I received them the washer was damaged and was only left as a loner in order to wait for the new one to arrive. The delivery man placed the order and I spoke with the agent over the phone to confirm the order, it was suppose to be received by July 10th (date both confirmed by the agent over the phone and was written in my receipt for the washer and dryer). On that day, which was a Tuesday and I had to take time off work nobody came, called or anything. Days went by without knowing the status of my washer and NOBODY reached out to me. I finally decided to go to the store where I purchased the washer since the only number they gave me nobody would answer and the manager was able to sort things out. She was able to get them to tell me what day I was going to receive the washer and additionally I was going to get reimbursed for the day I missed. Once I received my new washer they told me to contact a number in order to file the claim for my reimbursement. When I called them they told me that this is not something that they do and some story. The agent who received my call after I was transferred and transferred asked for my phone number to pull up my file and she hung up the phone on me. This is unacceptable! not only they dropped the ball on the delivery but when I try to reach them they are full of excuses and they hang up.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Front-loader Love

I hesitated to buy another front-loading washer, mainly because my old one was such a mold incubator and died WAY before I expected. I'm so glad I decided to try another brand. This GE machine is such a huge improvement over my old front-loader! The GE cleans beautifully, is amazingly quiet, and has yet to show any sign of mold problems after more than a month's heavy use. The door gasket and dispenser drawer of my old machine were constant battlegrounds against mold, and I was happy to see that the drawer of the GE is actually vented in the back, improving evaporation in that area. A quick wipe down every night has kept this washer mold-free. So far, it's been the best washer I've ever owned.
