noisy when starting to spin

Whenever it goes to spin it bangs like it is off balance. Repair man said that I didn't have a large enough load. It still bangs when doing a large load. I worry about the bearings wearing out.

I just bought mine 2 weeks ago and I am in love! I do (on average) 14-16 loads of laundry a week and this washer makes it so easy and effortless! So much capacity in such a small space!

Bearings went out

We bought our first GE front load washing machine 5 years ago and it lasted 2 years before the bearings on the drum went out. We got a new GFW480SPKDG almost 3 years ago and the bearings just went out again. This is a huge disappointment. These washers should last longer than a couple of years. I am now forced to switch to another brand.

I am very happy for buying the washer and dryer. I love the ruby red color! It makes my laundry room stand out. I get compliments from friends and family. The washer does its job. My clothes come out very clean!! I am able to wash my bulky comforters. The dryer is huge with different times to dry my clothes.

THE LIGHT WASH FEATURE IS JUST THE RIGHT OPTION FOR CLEANING OUR TENNIS, BIKING, SWIMMING AND YOGA CLOTHING. IT IS QUIET AND THE TIMER LETS ME KNOW WHEN TO EXPECT THE CYCLE TO BE COMPLETE.

Load Sense keeps showing up

Washer was installed less than 1 month ago. I cannot fix the "load sense" message which means I have to call a repair person unless all I want to do is wash less than 5 articles of clothing in a quick wash. No access to normal, sanitise, anti-allergen or steam. I thought this would be a great washer. It isn't!!!! SORELY more than disappointed.
