Spin cycle issues.

The washer is nice, but this is the second one due to a warranty replacement of the first model. The spin cycle is far too aggressive when it spins. The tub cycle while spinning moves from side to side and front to back shaking the floor, is noisy and moves around on the floor due to the out of control spinning.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Solid Upgrade

Lots of features and the first loads we did were much quieter than the previous washer we had. Definitely need to keep the door cracked to let the washer dry after use.

Great Capacity

There are some nagging issue that plague this model - the detergent and softener dispenser. Early on the tab broke on it - the reason I was even dealing with the tab was to remove it to clean out PERSISTENT MOLD that grows in there. I've had NUMEROUS GE machines (moved a fair amount) and this is the only one with that problem. Got a new dispenser after the tab broke and same problem. Since I have an extended warranty, I'm going to have that addressed as well as the new problem with the control knob. It now has a grinding feel to it. My last machine - the water pump went out 2.5 years into it so ... rethinking whether I'll buy a GE washer moving forward.

Bigger wash tub!

So far the machine is working great! The only thing I've noticed is the only way you can use the pods of detergent is to throw it in the tub with the laundry, they don't dissolve when using the drawer area for detergent, bleach, and softener, they gum up and I had to clean the drawer out.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The spin cycle is far too aggressive when it starts to spins the washer is level and balanced. I also have to keep the door open to let dry out prevent smelling molding on the rubber.

Huge inside

We were looking for a big washer because we've got a big family. This does so many clothes in one load without a problem. We love the color and style, the load options, the light for the interior, etc.
