We had trouble getting the washer delivered in factory direct shape We sent back the damaged one, ordered another one, which was also damaged. Third delivery was successful but it is a very noisy machine!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hello Brown H - Thanks for posting a review on your washer. Our newest models do create a certain degree of sound. A knocking (metallic knock, double knock, or metallic clunk) noise during agitation or spin is a normal sound. This sound occurs when the washer transitions from a stop or paused state to running in spin. It happens several times a cycle after the speed changes or pauses and is caused by two components in the drive system engaging quickly

I am enjoying my new washer. It is quite and easy to use. I did have difficulty opening the pump filter door. I had to ask someone to turn it for me, as it was so tightly closed. He had difficulty turning the handle and really had to use brute strength. Otherwise, I am very happy.

Delivery was on time and quick and knowledgeable. Looks great, this is my 2nd GE Washer. My previous Model only lasted about 2 years but luckily the warranty covered most of the cost to purchase a new one. Hopefully this one will not fail me. Keeping fingers crossed!

This was a home warranty purchase. Nice looking washer with several bells and whistles however very noisy in the spin cycles and retain water in the detergent dispenser.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
