Disappointed at quality-Worn less than 10 times

I'm disappointed with the quality of this watch. After wearing this watch less than 10 times- I checked and noticed the crown fell off. This could be an issue with quality control but I wouldn't know.
I purchased this watch as a back up watch to my Weekender watch. The style looked well and the leather band worked well with the face.
I rarely wore this watch as it served as a backup. In terms of total times I actually wore the watch out- Less than 10 times. Without any strenuous activities, I took a walk around the park. By the time I got back, I noticed the crown already fell off.
I wish this watch turned out to be like the Weekender, but I just can't get over the bad quality of the watch vs. the great design of the watch.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great rugged looking style

I've owned this watch over a year now and love it! Great looking watch with an antique military look. Keeps great time and if the chronograph hands get out of alignment (it's happened once in a year's time) it's a simple process to fix so that they index right again. Also as opposed to one of the other reviewers I think the indiglo night light works fine and lights up the whole face of the watch.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Did not work right out of the box

After removing the plastic time stopper I immediately noticed that the second hand was broken and freely swinging. The chronograph hands were also not zeroed properly and also did not operate properly. Two visible defects directly out of the box. This is a sign of poor quality control and cheap parts/ assembly. Never buying timex again. Timex is obviously just producing quantity not quality.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Chronograph function failed within first two days

I read the instructions for this watch before doing anything else and zeroed out the dials properly. The chronograph functioned great the first day. Second day, I used the chronograph to time my lunch break and when I went to stop the timer it stopped fine and the elapsed time read correctly. When I depressed the button to reset the chronograph it did not go back to zero. It then would not start, stop, or reset neither chronograph button will do anything now. Strange thing is, it is still keeping perfect time and date. I'm super disappointed. It's a really nice looking watch and the reviews seem good. Maybe I just got a lemon.

My daughter gave me the watch for Christmas.

I liked the style, however I looked at it one day while wearing it and the stem had fallen out somewhere unknown to me. Very disappointed considering the price my daughter must have paid for the watch.
